My name is Es Shepherd, I like to think of myself as a glass bead maker and glass artist using both flame and kiln and also a Native American Flute Noodler.
Sajen Art Glass represents my ramblings from the glass side.

I am not formally trained as a glass artist but am self taught, usually through trial and error. Initially more error than success but I am getting there. And more recently a move to include glass bead making which I am really enjoying especially with the historic interest for Medieval, Pagan and Viking style beads.My other interest that

And more recently a move to include glass bead making which I am really enjoying especially with the historic interest for Medieval, Pagan and Viking style beads.My other interest that does have a bearing on my art glass, in a somewhat tenuous way, is the Native American Flute which I play or should I say noodle with.
I use glass as my favoured medium with copper and silver inclusions and additions. my methods for working the glass are kiln forming using a kiln with temperatures upto 925 degrees Centigrade and lampworking where I melt rods of glass in a flame usually to create beads and marbles. I also create art using stained glass
My inspirations are varied, in fact I usually say that what I create are my ramblings in glass as I do not have one specific design or style that I keep to
